Why is it that people bum off these corsa vxr's? imo they are over rated and pretty slow tbh, watching various ones run the quater mile would be pretty depressing for me if i ever i owned one. A c20xe corsa isnt capable of out running or beating any impreza or evo at any point through the rev range. Iv had four c20xe corsas and one corsa let, i wouldnt buy or build any other hot hatch with a budget other tha these. It makes me smile how there is always a debate on what car is the quickest between an xe corsa and a clio172.

exactly, the clio is.
and the 20xe engine is out of another car. the engine is nothing special when its in the original car

When i had my 172 sport my mate in his xe nova handed my ass to me, and when iv been ina 1 of my xe's iv pulled past a 172. but each to their own

it would be nippy but the scoobys and evo's would be out of its league.
save up and find one with a c20let they are very quick and a mildly tuned one will give the scoobs and evo's a run for there money........only from a rolling start and not breaking or round corners lol

I think they're great fun little cars, loved the ones i've had.
Regarding to people even contemplating racing an evo in one need to wake up. They're nippy but not rocket ships

Power doesn't account for much if you have a load more weight though bud.. mine is probs around 1190kgs (ish) with the mods etc... e46 M3's don't pull on me until over 100mph+ (on a private road of course  )
