Having similar issues with my 172, thankfully i've got my 3 years as a Renault teaboy behind me and an RTE for a good mate, its going to be a long frustrating day today working on it.

You've fixed it, you know it's perfect now, it does a million miles to the gallon, sell the lockset and ECU and carry on using it
