UPDATE 27/12/09

Well was working in Halfords today, was pretty dead so was having a look through what was going cheap in the sales, noticed we had a few price tags for audio that hadn't been put out yet, had a flick through to see if there was anything worth having, lots was going cheap but nothing I really wanted.

So did a few searches on the computer system to see if anything was being hidden away and was going cheap (the main audio technician likes to hide stuff until it gets dirt cheap and then buys it to sell on ebay)
Found a few things but the main one was this:

Btw they ain't scratches just dog hairs

Vibe Slick A3 4 Channel Amp
Halfords origional price was £249.99, but with it being tucked out the back for soo long it got dropped to £30 and got it slightly cheaper with discount.
Also picked up a set of un-used Pioneer 13cm speakers for £4 as most Vauxhalls use this size.

No idea what Im going to do with either tbh, just worth having for the price they where going for tbh.

Tomorrow I will be servicing the car so will report back when its done

I know there's better brands out there but Ive always used Vibe stuff with no problems, and can't really grumble for £30.

You never know I might paint my car Green, or buy another Green Corsa

IIRC we had a few of the new JBL 13cm speakers which are pretty good from my experience, they where £10 i think, well worth an ask in your local Halfords mate, ours are still out the back so got first dibs.

Had some Sony speakers too and the Pioneers.

UPDATE 28/12/09

Due to weather I didn't get as much as I would have liked done today.
Fitted the new panel filter:

Also fitted some new Samco Hose Joiners onto the powerpipe, no pics as it was a fooker to do being that the new hoses where slightly thicker.
Problem now being that the old hose clamps didn't fit, and being Bank Holiday Monday no where was open.
So ordered these off ebay:

4 for £6 so they should arrive soon.
Will get the plugs, oil and oil filter changed this week asap and when the weather holds out.

As Ojc says no, not really, needed one anyway, and fancied a K&N one in there so I don't have to replace it again just clean and re-oil it when required.

Mine was listed on the system as £30, then got it for that with discount.

Wouldn't surprise me if a few stores raise the price for the extra cash.
