Tried something on Saturday night round a Pal's place. No recollection of what it was called as I was shitfaced, but it was 5.7% and it was bloody disgusting.

I had it in Slug & Lettuce and they couldn't pour it with a head. Tasted really bad too. I had a bottle of it last night and it tasted really nice. Loads of flavour.

It was rubbish when I had it from cask down at my local.

I've had a few other good beers over Christmas though, which I'd recommend...

Alechemy & Arbor Anti-Christ-Mas - 7.3% colaboration Australian style red IPA.
Harviestoun Old Engine Oil Engineer's Reserve - 9% thick black chocolate porter.
Williams Bros Nollaig - 7% pine and spruce ale made from Christams trees. Awesome 1L bottle too!
Het Anker Gouden Carolus Noël - 10.5% dark Belgian ale, tastes of liquorice!
Schloss Eggenberg Samichlaus Classic (2013) - 14% dobblebock, tastes very very sweet.
Thornbridge & S:t Eriks Imperial Raspberry Stout - 10% colaboration chocolate stout and Belgian sour mixed. Very odd!
BrewDog Mix Tape 8 - 14.5% Whisky BA Belgian tripel blended with Whisky BA American triple IPA. Fucking delicious!!
Harviestoun Ola Dubh 1991 Highland Park Cask - 10.5% BA "Old Engine Oil". I love the Ola Dubh series!
Rogue Voodoo Doughnut Chocolate, Peanut Butter & Banana Ale - 5.3% pretty bonkers, based on the doughnut flavours from these guys: http://voodoodoughnut.com/

I loved the bottles of bah humbug i tried.

Currently brewing a 5.4% fiery ginger beer (ginger, chilli and pepper), and a 6.4% hopped european lager, bit like Heineken on roids.

Hobgoblin is still my favourite bottled beer, Jaipur is my favourite on tap.

It's pretty much all I drink in pubs now unless it's a night out, becoming a bit of an obsession.
