if i brake it highest bid gets it

well took turbo of today and found these little bits of molten metal on the exhaust side, they just scraped of with my nail

stuck bore scope down but couldent see fuck all so

and ripped the head of

shows how good my mapped is no det marks

then pulled the cams out and put petrol in the chambers left it for 5 mins , compression readinges yesterday were 98, 98, 115, 89, the 2 that were 98 lost about 1/3 of the petrol the one that was 115 lost none and the one that was 89 lost half , i had a look at the valve seat and it doesent look shinny all the way around so im hoping that they will just need re lapping in then a re shim to sort out, taking it to a machine shop close by tomorrow to let them have a look and give me there opinion on it

Hope you get away with just lapping them in. The good thing about alloy it melts pretty quick.

I spoke to the bloke that does my MOT's, and he said fucking hell! At your terminal speeds, I showed him the slip you posted, and he was very impressed.

Don't really post much but I have followed your thread.

Such a shame it's gone this way, and it's always easy for the Internet to say 'keep building / fixing' when it's not their pockets paying.
Hopefully it isn't as bad as you thought and can be rescued. Which ever way you decide to go I hope it turns out the right choice

Turbo is well
Over a grand alone.. You can't just slap stuff onto a car that's been set up properly
