So what was the out come in the end? Just re-seat the valves, and give everything a good clean?

yep, there was some crap in the valve seats where the valves had pounded them in so had the seats re cut and have just cleaned everything

That wasn't too bad then. What are your plans for the air filter? Just not use one on the strip?

cheers, spent a few more hours on it today , timed it all up









have also changed the front springs to higher ones as last time the cross member was hitting the floor so think i need to get the tracking looked at





mate has robed me some cheap oil from his work that i will run the engine on for 5 mins then drop it for the good stuff , will get that in tomorrow and prime the engine, thats all i can do till i get the turbo core

some wheels poped up cheap the other day so quick drive to Nottingham yesterday to collect them, these will be used as dyno wheels, loading on/of truck and maybe road wheels if it sees the road again, there 18s, just need to get some cheap tyres for them











test fitted











also primed the engine with oil today , wiped all the plugs out and stuck turbo oil feed in a bag and cranked it till i got good oil pressure and filled the bag, no knocks or bangs from the engine is always a bonus, new turbo should be here next weekend all being well

got bored today so decided to move my air intake as i wasent happy having it so close to the tyre as didnt want it sucking rubber in on burnout cut welded it all up to make this, will be running it without filter on the strip and filter will be on untill burnout area just so nothing is sucked in the pipe
