was on way home from anglesey circuit on Saturday afternoon and i got pulled by a 3 series estate marked traffic car, he showed me the laser thing which said 102 and told me ill have to go to court and it will probably be a ban.
will be devoed if it does come to that as ive only just got my licence 2-3months ago so obviously i cant even afford to have 6 points or i lose it aswell.

whats the best thing i can say when i go to court?

does that laser thing actually tell him my reg?

could i argue that he got the wrong person cause he got me from 450 yards away traveling away from him so (hes got to of booted it to catch up lol)

thanks in advance for any replys

You'll have to resit you're test, and prob have 6 points sitting on you're license.

if they are nice, depends what you get.

Yeah you will need to resit your test since youve been driving less than 2 years.

I've always wondered about the test resit thing, as my brother hadn't been driving 2yrs and got banned for drink driving then simply had to pay £90 (i think) to reapply for his license after the 12months. No re-test required.

Speeding bans are usually a month or two are they not?

good tip for the future.. speed limits are there for a reason they stop us getting fisted up teh arse by the old bill if you stick to them..

you'll learn when you get your licence back that you got to be carefull where you can go above the speed limit as noone on here will just stick to 40 if the road is clean with no side turnings every 5 yards that could have a car jump out of them at any second..

take it as a learning curve and expect public transport to be your friend from now on..

If you were pulled by north wales finest, then yes, totally fucked...

I reckon you will get 6 points + 6 month ban + about £300 fine + costs...

Also with the 6points, you will be liable to totting up, so will have to re-take your theory and practical test once the ban has expired

You will probably have your licence revoked, which means you have to take the theory and practical again. They come down hard on new drivers. Lesson learnt I think.
