I had a 40 day disqualification and £300+ fine. No points.

109 average on motorway.

Totally depends on the magistrates. You could come off with a telling off, or you could get bummed.

I'm in court next month, for having an uninsured car parked outside my house(not driving it!) for 16 hours, trying to give me 6 points :/.
hope the courts don't pull my pants down

Please tell me your joking? Iv have a car parked on the drive (uninsured) for the last 5 days aha....

Unlucky lad, You know what the North Wales police are like now They're never wrong, aha tried to get me sooo many times just driving down a bypass thats a 50mph limit, saying i was doing 60, when ive asked for evidence they cant prove it...

Only way i've seen someone get out of it, was ma step dad who got his boss, to send a letter through to court stating that he was needed at the workplace...

A drive is private property and therefore you can have 20 cars on it, on top of one another and it doesn't matter. They can't touch you for lack of tax, mot or insurance, as it is private property...I guess he means he had the car parked on the PUBLIC road.

i reckon it will depend on the Magistrate

Over 100 is not an instant ban

There are penalties of up to 6 points and £xx fines for up to 110mph.

This is increased further up to 114mph

After 114 mph there are no guidelines and would probably result in a lengthy ban

its not that you have to receive the 'Notice Of Intended Prosecution' (NIP) within 14 days of the alleged offence. all the police have to do is prove that they send the NIP within the 14 days so that it had enough time to arrive with you before or on the 14th day. even if you don't receive the nip within 14 days i would love to see you argue that point if they have records of sending it on the 10th day after the incident.

As long as you have a SORN and its on your drive untaxed, no SORN and a fine will be on its way...

isnt this if you just get caught by a camera not a traffic cop?

i doubt it mate. my bro got caught driving without insurance in cardiff. it took months to get a court summons in the end he got 6points and a few hundred quid fine.

just play it cool. act mature and emphasise how much you need your licence.

i got caught when i was 16 on my moped doing 55mph in a 60 zone. but because mopeds are only allowed to do 30mmph i got an lc20 and 3 points. i drive like a fanny now. everyone speeds especially in 30s.

its just luck or not isn't it. how old are you btw?

The lasers are easily capable of recording high speeds from upto 4,000 metres and it's highly likely you will be banned even if that does sound harsh. At the end of the day speed kills.

Depends on your perception of what an NIP is.

They can issue a Verbal NIP, it doesn't have to be in writing.

MOT and insurance isn't an issue aslong as your not driving the car. Tax is the only one they can do ya for as tiger said.
