Manifold turned up from Chrisboom, ashley 4-2-1. It needs a clean though so that will be done this weekend.

185-55-r14 yeah, the side wall looks different in the pic. It's not as big in person and its completely flat, not bubbled like it looks here. These wheels will only be for road use anyway, when I do track it it'l be on different wheels.

honestly, take it from someone that works with them all day long. theyre not a good tyre if your doing a track car.

this isnt anything personal. im just informing you theyre not very grippy. yes theyre cheap and a brand you know the name of. but theyre just not a good tyre.

i thought id let you know. thats all.

I know nic, I work in a garage too. these were recomended on 106OC for what it's worth. Like I said above, these tyres are for road use only, when it's on track it will have different wheels

to be recommended by people, then they clearly havent got a bloody clue about them. the zv5's are slightly better. but for the same money, if not slightly cheaper, falkens are far far better.

Aslong as theyre decnt on the road then that'll do me, and I get a good discount on them anyway so I paid no where near retail price. I plan on getting 15's with track tyres for when it does get used on track, wont care if I damage them then. I don't fancy damaging these knowing full well I rely on the car for getting to work

Did a bit today, springs are on, struts are back in place, strut brace is on, manifold is on although I need a new manifold gasket as the one I have is the wrong one so it's blowing, no big deal

Decided against the supersprint now, will be going for a 2'' outward rolled pugsport. I was going to go for the 3'' but it looks a bit big. Going for a raceland 16v induction kit I'll just have to modify it a bit to fit the 8v

I took a grinder to my induction kit

Needs the front lip off it, but then of course you need to modify the pipe for all the sensors.
