Yeah it looks ok as it is as I've painted the centres black so you can't notice anyway but the caps would finish them off nicely.

Not bad then, atleast it all shifted. I'd have the wheels off you if I had the cash but I need to buy the exhaust.

Went for a spirited drive after work today as the weather was nice, here's a few pics...

The reason I stopped above was that 1 part of the cold air feed for the standard airfilter had decided to come unlodged and melt on the manifold, whipped the trusty junior hacksaw out and cut it off.

I painted the callipers and lower strut brace ready to be fitted on monday along with new discs and pads and also new plugs and oil filter.

Ha didn't stop driving because of the smell of the plastic then?

Had to in the saxo when the pipe did that, the smell through the blowers was a shocker!

No, I was further up that road when a puff of smoke came through the bonnet thought I best pull over and check it out.

I'm hoping it doesn't, I was thinking of some sort of heat shield to go over part of the manifold, any ideas?

Get one! You could sell the GTI for decent cash and get another XSI

Also, forgot to mention I ordered a Quickshift on Friday so that should be here soon. Pic stole from Chris' thread as the one on KamRacing is too small.

Would love 1 if it wasn't for the pedals and me being a size 12.
