Was trying to find a 306 HDI before I sell it, but i think ill just get shot of it asap. Still need to sort a few bits before I let him test drive it though

Well ive just fixed a cuntish missfire it had, was the MAP sensor. Just need to fix the gear linkage arm, and that il be it.

Should really change the gearbox seals too as its pishing oil out, but I cant be fucked

Good old Peugeot. Touch wood I've had fuck all go wrong with mine, anything that has been wrong has been a result of my tinkering

My 8v engine was perfect, never had a problem with it.

Gearboxes/shafts/clutches/wiring however

ie engines are strong they rattle and leak oil like a gooden but they dont break that often... rest of the car however.

Oh aye, good and rattly if the tappets need adjusted, mine never leaked a drop of oil though.

wouldnt worry much, if its only light tapping then its most prolly tappets being worn, gets given a thrashing most of the time right?
