Thought it would be a good idea to start a new thread as the other one is getting rather large.

Same format as before, get in here and post up your results each week and a brief summary of the game. Doesn't matter whether you played or spent the whole time yakking up on the sidelines, we want to know

Everyone knows what team we all play for so no need for any of that stuff again.

Here's last season's thread for historical purposes

Whereabouts in London MarkM?

My job as manager hasnt stopped. Got the new kit lined up, Legea very nice Green and White as usual but with loads going on, very continental
Double the work this year as running a reserve side aswell. They're having our kit so nothing to do there but get them back.
Only 3 divisions this year as teams have folded again but bigger with 10 teams a division and cups should be more exciting. We came 5th in the Prem but one of the teams above us has folded so should be looking at 4th place if not higher as teams coming up are pretty average.

I CANT WAIT, 2 holidays then pre-season starts 8th July, BRING IT ON

we did roll on roll off subs, after 5 mins i nearly died was red hot and we were all rather unfit

lost 7-3 to a team in a higher division although most of the goals we conceeded were soft

I am still playing for Wickersley FC 1st XI on Sat's and I've signed for a new team called Woodman AFC in the lower leagues of my local Sunday league.

Planning on staying at Wick although there are some rumours of a managerial change with the current manager taking a role upstairs.

MarkM - Yea its not too bad, quite a few semi-pros play in our league, all the locals from Burnham, Windsor, Slough etc. We always have 1 or 2 that do well in county cups aswell.

found this at the bottom of page 2, come on boys

Manager has packed it all in and someone else has taken over. Bit of a shock really but there we go. New bloke should do a good job as he has a bit more respect amongst the players.

Think we're getting a new kit also

New kit is always good!!!
Any danger of names on them??

Cant wait for the season to start again!!
Dont think training will start again until i am back off my holiday now though!! At least it rules out an injury before i go, although i am hoping for an injury free season this year!!

When does evryone else start trianing again??

Looks as if i'm going to be playing Saturday League football next season for Great Linford. They have an A and B team in two different divisions. I'll be warming the bench for the B team I suspect. Went triaing with them last week and it wasn't too bad

nah we're not allowed names on the shirts. Not sure why again.

We've organised a friendly with the Champions of the Premier Division should be fun

depends where you play in a full game imo.

Playing as a winger is fcuking knackering. You have to obviously attack but then make sure you track back to cover your defenders ass (especially if you play 3 at the back). I was sick that day....

but the thing will 6 a side is. the ball only ever goes out if theres a goal or some1 hoofs it. so its none stop sprint turn tackle sprint turn sprint etc etc. for me it's a killer lol. but i do enjoy it as much
