Is it at the bodyshop you work? Can't you do the prep work, and ask the painter to do it after work?

Not at the bodyshop I work at its one of our other sites in Guildford miles away, would do it myself but would have to take time off, which I don't have

All boils down the fact I'm getting this done for next to nothing, and all sites have a lot of work on but all are short staffed (hols and sick etc)...my car is the lowest priority in my managers eyes, don't have much of a say in the matter

Hey guys

my manager from the other site came to our bodyshop the other day and had a bit of a chat, confirmed with me that the new quarter is now on

did press him for a completion date, weve agreed we are aiming for the end of the month but it still needs panel finishing off and then finding time to get it all prepped and painted as it has to be filtered in around other jobs

but looking good at the mo, couldnt get any pics so soz about that but watch this space and i will know more end of the month

No pictures, not good enough steve

Glad to hear new panel has gone on! Lets hope they get it sorted soon! Will be lovely with a friesh coat of paint

i know! i wanna see what it looks like aswell, but dont wanna push my luck, im just glad theyre doing something to it

might have to get my spy in the camp over there to get some sneaky snaps when hes not busy and my manager isnt looking haha

whoop whoop! my spy at our other site got me these pics this morning, panel work looks to be all done

just waiting for a slot to get it into primer, new quarter is on and all the dents are done aswell

too right joey, first pics iv seen of it since august lol, the guidlford site has been soo busy lately

missing it soo much, even just being able to take it out on the weekend for a quick blat, heard theres a open pit lane on the 22/10 at brands.....touch and go if i'll make it though, still need to sort the driver side inner cv when it gets back

I'm getting mine from vauxhall it's in South Wales though looking foreword to seeing this done sure Ive seen it at pvs or Trax at some point

Lol I know the matte white/grey has a good look about it, then I just look back at the old photos....and decide yellow is still the way to go

Its painted!! Colour looks fucking awesome even in pictures well pleasesd!!
edited- just got some images in prep before paint was added



















Next step is polishing and then refit, still needs and MOT and osf inner cv but the biggest hurdle is done whoop!!
