Well little bit behind schedule but car was picked up this morning by my works truck, and on the way to the bodyshop as we speak to have the new quarter put on and treating it to a full respray while its there, mainly to make sure it matches as it was a one off colour before, now being done in vauxhall hazard yellow normally found on vxr8's

going to speak to my boss and make sure all the little car park dings are taken care of and all the stone chips

only probs is its going to another site as we are flat out at my one and i need it done for a track day at brands in a couple of weeks so will ask nicely but not sure if i will be able to get pics though, watch this space

well track day at brands is on hold at the mo because the dates been changed, not sure if i can get the time off as someone else is off that day

in regards to the car though, had a word with the guys looking after it, cars stripped but they are waiting on a new quarter panel which is on order with vaux at the mo

asked for a few pics of it in bits (not much to strip to be fair, probs took them 5mins)

did hit a little speed bump, found out as im TPFT i dont have windscreen cover (mines cracked) so have to fork out for a brand new one, but at the same time they are only around £90 so not much more than a windscreen excess anyway

pics soon as i get them emailed to me later

Still waiting on the quarter panel but the lads are getting stuck in with the other dents and dings around the car, making good progress , lol I'm gonna be worried about damaging the bodywork now when I go back out on track, it'll look too nice

Can't wait to get it back soon, more pics as they get to me

Lol dnt get me wrong I would live mine sprayed properly but it's a cheap toy so 120 quid to paint it was great.
As for finish one side is the perfect the other needs flattening more but it's not rough and very Lil orange peel in it so not complaining lol

bit of an update, managed to catch my manager at the other site on a good day, quarter panel that was on back order has turned up yesterday

but then got the bombshell dropped on me...."yeh still gonna be a few more weeks til it gets done"

they are down on staff and have to meet money targets so mines taken a back seat to being done as an when as they are really busy now

gutted is not the word, first i miss PVS over this shit, now thanks to an increase workload and a late quarter panel going to miss Trax AND Forge Day at combe

cant see it being done, MOT'd and inner CV done in time

so thats put me in shitty mood for the rest of the day, hope someone wants to buy some track time/entry tickets as i wont have any use for em by the looks of it
