Yeah have to agree it's not the best line up of games to be fair.
But watched some gameplay videos of the Formula 1 game and it looks awesome to be honest.

FFS what is it with idiots that wont shut up about 360s. i own a 360 and yes its a great console but the PS3 isnt even released yet so you cant say anything. yeah the launch line up is rather pooh but 360s was nothing special...

Steve could tell from the 1st mock ups 4 years ago that the seats weren't supportive enough and it was too rounded to have any real processing power.

If the floating point potential of the PS3 (almost double the 360 IIRC) is utilised by any game manufacturers then the physics etc will be far superior to the 360. Unfortunately if all the games are just written to the lowest common denominator then of course there won't be much between them.
I've got one on pre-order -- mainly as I'm curious plus it's an easy way to get myself a Bluray player with gaming as a bonus.
I know I could get the 360+HDDVD drive but I'll probably also mess around with Linux on the PS3. Sony have apparently made it extremely easy to start hacking around inside the PS3.
If it's really that crap then I can just sell it on...

absolute turd im afraid, at the moment there are very few games out for the ps3 while there is over a 100 for the 360.
both consoles are getting alot more decent games released this year and 2008

when turok comes out for both consoles it will use the unreal 3 engine, which cuold well make it alot easier to get the most out of the ps3 with. its meant to be very easy to get the most out of a game with and i heard gow could of looked alot more impressive(uses the unreal 3 engine) but they will save that for gow 2
