I have one ordered (paid in full!), whether it arrives on the launch day is another question. I haven't ordered any games, but I think Resistance and Call of Duty 3 will be bought... F1 looks good, and Motorstorm, and Ridge Racer, and I will download the Gran Turismo HD demo once its online.

great technologyit performs the same as something half the price.
even if you add the hd player the 360 is still cheaper and has better live service, so if the ps3 is a bargain, what is the 360!!

The 360 doesn't have the same technology though.
To bring it up to a similar spec you end up spending the same.
Give it up will you.
The fact you are so gay about the 360 will probably help ps3 sales tbh.

the 360 excels in some areas technology wise where the ps3 excels in others, apart from blueray there is no more technology in a ps3 if you take into account all components of both machines
it has a cell processor, thats about as good as it gets, it has a crippling memory bus

john i think you need to admit/realise how bad the ps3 really is when compared to how good it shouldve been.
iv always previously bought sony so have no reason to slag it off, and its not just cause i now have an xbox as you dont see me slagging off the wii

i think steve bums his 360 TBH. 
wouldn't get a ps3 until price comes down alot. don't even play my ps2 so wouldn't see the point in buying a console that just sits there

as alot of people have said the ps3 imo is overpriced. but i thought the 360 was on launch day so i waited a while and i havnt looked back.my cousin has orderd a ps3 so the day he gets it i will give my opinion.but until then there's going to be loads of slaggin between the 360 bummers and the ps3 so i shall just sit her and laugh about it.360 all the way!!!

i dont think john is anti ms, and im not anti sony, i just dont think the ps3 is worth it when there is just as good cheaper alternatives.
by the time the ps3 hits xbox pricing comparing them will be pointless as both will be dated

I shall not buy one due to the fact that as good as if not better technology was out over a year ago for half the price, HD DVD is winning the format so blu ray is pointless, Gay controllers, Shit online play, expemsive games, and the fact sony insists on fucking europe.

The latest figures I read bluray were outselling hd-dvd, which isn't bad considering hd-dvd has had a big head start.
Sony's new bluray player is also only $600
Controllers are tried and tested and loved by millions.
They do take the piss out of europe though.
