Sonys fucks europe as we are always last to get anything, its allways overpriced and they have also announced the will be little or no cut in prices and th3ey are also trying to clamp down on sales of preowned games

i dont think blu ray is outselling hd dvd, iv read differently, but who can believe what we read when it comes down to something like that.

Yes the figures do change every time you read it somewhere else.

A PATENT may allow Sony to ensure that no game would be playable from any console other than the one in which it was first read.
Joystiq is reporting that this patent is the source of the many rumours that will mean as much to gamers as DRM is for music fans.
The technology would allow an authentication code to be read and then rendered unreadable, making the software unplayable on any machine but the one which first read it.
This sums it all up for me and sony im affraid.

so what happens if 5 years down the line your PS3 breaks and you're unable to play your entire games collection on your new one?

sony have tried tricks like this before and afterall it works for PC software, maybe have an online activation that locks the game to your online account so even if you swap hardware the license could be recovered.

im not, i only know one person was considering one while they were still at the 425 price tag but hes just got a bug eye imporeza now so doesnt have the spare dosh for abit now, im dying to have a go on one though.
topshot if thats true about the ps3 only accepting 1 copy of each game you load into it then that is absolutley crazy surely sony arent that thick??!!??
mind you if anyone remembers that post i made about the price not dropping until atleast 2009 they source said sony are taking parts out of the europe consoles to save on cost and break even quicker

Only reason I stayed with the PS was for the games, but now all my fave games are avilable with XBOX so may aswell get the cheaper and better option in the XBOX, surely, and the PS online is awfull, XBOX Live will always be much better and popular.

Have pre-ordered, cant wait, also own a 360 and love it. not gonna go on about which is better as there is no point as the 360 is good and the ps3 will be too, end of.
p.s £425 is reasonable you cheapskates you would pay double that for a TV with half the technology.

I gave my brother my 360 last may with a good few games & he owe's me around £100... So in return he's bought me a ps3 paid in pull & I go and pick it up whenever it's released
Havn't a clue what games to get, don't even know what's available except for GT HD & Ridge Racer 7, which both look good.
