if its big he has enough parts to repair and if not i really dont mind as long as its running nice i dont want the engine to screw the arse off it most the time will be casual driving so want it nice

i dont need to u2u him he really is entitled to his own opinion
i am very greatfull for the help i have another option to try on brake hos and also check there gonna do compression etc but all in all he can hate my guts but if he is still willing to reply to try and help even if thinks im a twat thats pretty impressive and i respect that

well the guy thatt knows what hes doing has put it on proper diognostic machine and its thrown up
idle control valve
afm
tps
knock sensor
the last two ive never changed so definatly need changing the others could be just stored but will change them anyway and then see how it fires up from there

knock sensor faults codes are common when there is a fault with the tps or icv or afm.
possibly no need to change it

thats what he said he even said faulty wiring can throw that up but basically has all these bits from cars hes broken so hes swapping any way but he mentioned it may need a ramp to get to it??
i have no clue where it is

As for the wiring he means the plugs wrong way around as he rang me to check, as both the ICV and Knock sensor have same plug type on.

yeah, if the plug on the icv and the plug on the knock sensor are on the wrong way, ie knock sensor plug is on icv etc, then they arent registering with the ecu. your ecu light should be on all the time

are your earths good on the fuel rail? or the one off the inlet manifold onto the altanator adjuster?

alternator dont work right screetches as well but u can see battery on digi dash fluxuate all over place sometimes
