well end of day 2 and they still have not found it


they checked resistance on icv tho mate and it all comes back sensors are working



theyve still not found problem and now dizzy is fitted there are no codes at all coming up so.....

did the afm not come up on the diagnostics machine?

does the ecu light now work? is it on?

it works its not on all reads fine i fixed what errors it threw up and still running shit


the garage said afm can be knackered but not show unless its pretty fucked

Did you see the engine running in the car before you fitted it in the corsa?

My money is on the flux capacitor solenoid valve.

is the pipe to the inlet manifold, ie the brake servo pipe leaking?

brakes felt bad but theyve allways felt bit spongey as its a vac pipe not plastic one

bottom right hand side of inlet manifold and it runs all the way to the bulkhead to the servo which is driversde behind the scuttle panel.

well will be going over all pipes tomorow also taking to someone who is a wizz with xes hes gonna swap parts see if problem solves and get on his diag machine etc

just wondering thats all. if you fail to find any more faults with sensors or air leaks get it checked. could be headgasket related or such

well tomorow will definatly tell he rebuilds xes etc all time has enogh parts to replace evey one on the car he said if it takes it

just gonna take it in morning and leave it all day i will mention doing compression test but i presume for you guys that know xes etc thats one of the jobs u allways do?
