I had exactly the same problem with my car.

Changed that pipe a load of gaskets the ICV, then it went to vauxhall, turned out my car didnt even have a vauxhall ecu so had new ECU still did it, so went back to vauxhall and it turned out to be an earthing problem, £365 later and two tiny bits of earth lead and its been fine for the last 4 months

i can confirm that car is running sweet

the test run proved the car was still as enthusiastic as ever!

ECUs are not made by Vauxhall?
