also supose it depends what gear it was in, if it was in 1st and you towed it there at say 40-50mph that wont have done it any good at all. gutted for you mate! hope its ok

i remember when my diff broke, was towed 30 miles with my foot on the clutch to make sure that i did't fuck anything else up

just had call from michael says " you jammy bastard" i thought said the valves have just been kissing the pistons but dont think they have caused any damage. Said it is cold starting running and idiling ok. not finished with it yet, should be done tommorow but the beast may live on

Just had the phone calli was waiting for evertything is ok all running fine no engine managment light or anything i am so happy and relieved, felt sick all day yesterday but on top of the world now. Said i am needing to get a few miles on the car as everything is a little siezed up because it hasnt been used regularly for so long. delighted!!!!!!! goin to get booked in in a couple of weeks to get everything givin the once over

cheers will need to give it a good clean and polish this weekend, tidy up a few interior bits that are half done and then get some decent pictures taken, mine never do the car justice

picked it up and lunch time. car starts and sounds good. only went up street to the bank but all running fine pulls smoothly
