Im after a bit of direction over solenoids as Im thinking about removing my boot lock and wiper on my Corsa B.

Where can I get a solenoid from ?
Is there a standard one you can get, or do they differ in power, size etc ...?
If so, which one would I need for this purpose ?
Is it easy to fit /wire up etc ?

sorry for the essay, any help welcome, thanks in advance.
