ive heard its a bit tricky, can anyone give me some details on this please.

To fit solenoid, remove barrel and rod. Then put the solenoid so that it pulls in the same direction as the rod that links the lock to the barrel.
Remember that solenoids can only pull, not push.
Also use a relay with a fuse.

corb if u get the kit from http://www.autoeurope.co.uk, it has all the required stuff and instructions there mate. £20 for the kit.
