both 8v engines, would there be much difference in power? or what gains would there be?

it wont fit . sri is multipoint injection 1.2 i singlepoint. the ports in the heads are different

my mate did exactly the same a couple of years ago, and if i remember rightly it made a fair difference in power. only a couple of weeks after the bottom end blew up. the garage said it was due to the 1.4 head.
who knows.........................

will work aslong as its spi unless your converting to mpi.
no improvement in power though iirc the combustion chambers are bigger so you will have a lower compression ratio

1.2 and 1.4 spi heads are identical, bar the larger chamber as said.
SRi is a very good head, but your inlet wont match it.

yea i remember him sayin that a sh*t load of work had to go into doin the conversion - all in all i rekon a pointless venture. lol.
in the end he bought a 3.0 bmw. problem solved.
