i would like to see someone do it for £250, cost more than that in parts if done properly

try £600+

my garage charges over £1000 (vauxhall)

can you list the parts that are going to total over £600 please

this is why main dealer is last resort only. ive never heard such a ridiculas suggestion. ide say 2 hours labour on most engines and £100 in parts tops!

i said total inc labour

2 hours labour?????? hmmm more like 8-10 on vauxhall TIS, and
maybe on an 8v, but thats still 4 about 4hours

£100 in parts? dont no where you go! cambelt kit and water pump would be over £100

IF he has no mayo under the oil cap BUT oil/mayo in the water bottle could mean the head has cracked. Meaning new head needed......
