bought a wireless jobby modem so sister can use wireless on her laptop  
 
im using usb modem for broadband at the moment 
 
i set it up as it says put all correct wires in then put in set up cd but it wont find it??  im stuck any ideas?

your ADSl modem is USB? or do you have the converter to ethernet?

yes im on talk talk was using usb modem, unplugged it like it said followed instructions, put in set up cd it says it wont find this modem??

have you connected the modem to the PC via network cable?

The USB modem should have ethernet on it so forget the USB and use RJ45 ethernet cables instead.  Start with your hardwired PC and once that's running okay, get the wireless adaptor sorted out on the laptop.
