Toxteth?

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-6664542.rsp?pa_n=6&tr_t=buy

Soooo many people have/are in the process of making amazing money in toxteth, after the riots in the 80's it when right down the pan and even a few years ago houses were selling stupid cheap but because toxteth was the area all the rich mariners used to live when liverpool was the biggest port in britain all the houses are massive and it's starting to come good again.

Wish I had invested when I was like 13

I know what you mean but tbh it's better than alot of areas the other side of liverpool now.

Norris green is 10 times worse than toxteth, plus there's been soo much outside investment that it can only get better and better imo.

Some lad I know's dad has lived and worked around there for ages. He left his car outside the chippy and came back and it had 4 lads who he said were about 14 in it, he asked them to get out and they started hurling abuse at him, so he dragged one out of the drivers seat to give him a bit of a dig and they got off so he chased them and they taunted hit up like a train embankment thing and there was loads of them waiting with bats etc so he got off ... as you would

Toxteth isnt all that bad no more I live just down the road in Aigburth and i worked there all last year, doing gardens. most of my mates are from Toxteth/Dingle and I dont reckon its half as bad as what people make out, Norris green on the other hand is an absolute shit hole, and ive also worked there doing gardens.

I drive through there everyday. Area doesn't look all that bad but like any other area you get scallys about.

I used to see a girl from Toxteth too when i was like 17 She was 14

It's granby street that's the most renowned - the main street...

This bird cost me a fortune taking her out to nice places pretending I was rich not sure why now considering she was from toxteth

She was alright though.

Your leaning more towards granby then though arent you...

3 of us were working off granby street one day on kingsley street, and we were called " barleds" (sp) and got told to fuck off by 4 black lads, we just carried on workin, thats the worst ive got while working in toxteth/granby.

Speke is bad as most of it isn't lit. Toxteth is still not somewhere I would walk around at night but then its not the worse part of the city either.

Jay, you will be alright if your bird isnt putting out Been on Sheil Road at night

I live just off Belmont Road down the road from there. It's not the best of areas but it's not the worst.

I'm looking at moving, won't be for a while yet though. Garston, Aigburth or Hale Village areas look well presented but that's where the prices go up..
