been at my local audio shop 2day (source sounds) they did a sound off day for ww.maxXD.com
about 50 or 60+ cars came and it as a quality day. me and shawboy know the staff etc so it would be no probs organising a day for corsasprt if any1 fansied it??

not sure, i know what mines putting out and unless i can get a new, bigger amp from somewhere/borrow one, its not gonna be worth my while, as i'd get whooped! Or, I it was organised for next year, then maybe. March/April time, i'd be up for it, as hopefully my new system will be in, and that would be hard for most people off here to compete with(SPL-Wise).

ive got mine db tested.... 145db from a 'street' setup. 12" kicker comp with alpine bridged 2ch 300w amp. and a few other speakers. aint bad huh.

depends when it is - Im at uni in southampton and when Im not at uni Im in Stoke -if its when Im in Stoke I'll come up with Stubbsy - it'll make me get my ass in gear - got another sub and 2 amps to go in on top of whats already in - but if Im in southampton its a hell of a drive so dont knwo - comes down to dates

bit of a drive is correct for u steve, its J35, me n andy morley got down 2 J5a in about 2 hours so shud be about 2 1/2 hour or so from J1, thinkin back end of Oct??

LOL i love some of these SPL meters - they are GREAT! Well im hitting 133.4dB with two sealed 12's and a solid 1KW minimum from alpine amps... LOL. Just so you know guys, im gonna compete at this event but im not expecting to do very well. My system is SQ and im in dire need of a decent install in the boot - any pro-fitters interested lol

Just by the way ppl. Ever noticed your readings with a window/door open? Its cheating but a Saxo at the event I was at hit 154dB (illegally) with two ported twelves and his drivers door half open, the mic was at head height centralised in the drivers listening position!!
