Palmer staying at Renault next year. Very surprised by this. Always thought he was rubbish with no real race craft. Always crying on the radio like some middle class twit.

K Mag going over to Has. Unsure whether this is a main driver role or reserve.

Charlie Whiting in drivers presser; anyone watch?

He didn't look particularly comfortable with a microphone.

If this is a safety car start then they might aswell give everything up. It's not as wet as I've seen in years gone by, which were absolutely fine.

Red flag. Fuck sake. This will be a long red flag as rain is set to get worse for remainder of the race!

Fuck off, they get paid ridiculous amounts to race.

Perhaps Pirelli should make tyres that can handle extreme weather? I've seen worse on the M25 ffs.

Funny how Lewis and Nico haven't had any issues so far. Yet Vettel and Kimi managed to bin their motors.

Max also seems perfectly able to keep it on the black stuff.

Massa and Ricciardo set for penalties yet I reckon. Both Mercs are going to be pussy footing about. I think Hammy is by far the better wet weather driver.

Last red flag was the right call but the drivers on inters are morons tbh. It's like they're trying to get the race called off!

Great reaction from Max to catch his moment a split second before Kimi dropped it.

If it's cancelled now, Kimi gets a podium

This has ruined my Sunday tbh. Not impressed.

Ericsson crash was his own fault for riding the white line on the inside.

Kimi's. Fair enough he just lost it. Mad skillz trying to rescue it aswell.

Race restarting in 10 mins

Love the new rule change for next year whereby cars line up on the grid after a safety car start, so as to have a proper standing start. This is the most exciting part of the race for fans/anyone who I have ever spoken to who has an opinion on F1.

Christ, this is pathetic.

I can see this being staged next year with no spectators. Fans need a refund.

I'd say that someone in the hierarchy of the sport's management is worried about having a death on their hands.
