Could have got a 47" now I've fit it tho.
Got a 55" or something downstairs.

If money isn't an issue then I guess the Sony would be the better choice, but I doubt it is £100 better if you get me

Oh really, on Richer Sounds they are the same price!

I will run mine with an ethernet lead so not too fussed about wireless, but features like bluetooth will be handy

Oh and ref the HDMI's then yes you can.

I have Xbox, Bluray, laptop, PC all plugged in the the amp and one HDMI to the TV. Each input can be assigned a certain setup Etx and you can rename them too. The pioneer has a really really good app with it to adjust settings and also use as a remote etx

Wicked thanks for that, that was pretty much the main reason I wanted to go down there and discuss with them about whether I could do that. I like the sound of having an app to be able to adjust stuff and remote too

Think the Sony has an App too. The app for Pioneer is visually stunning and fun, works well too.

If Sony is more powerful then I'd say go with that.

Sorry

I'm going to go down and have a chat with them about them both but both seem just as capable as each other, just Sony is a tiny bit more powerful that's it

Have you tried yours out yet properly? Sound decent?

I have nothing to compare it to really but to me it sounds fantastic. Could be the speakers though I guess! But I'm chuffed anyway, it too got an award for something. Saw it on. Home cinema website

Like I said, girls size gav:

Old TV which was a 32"

Tv is amazing, love it, even the speakers are better than the old one, need a sound bar with a subwoofer really. It's held to my lovely fake wall with a £7 tv mount lol

Cheers Whitter.

Think I am getting cold feet. I am not sure if I should hold out for a 4K job to save me buying another tv in a couple of years. Seeming as the amp supports it and the BD player I am looking at does to. (Upscaling etx not actual 4K obvs)

But then £649 is pretty epic for a 3D 55" tv!

I didn't bother as I barely watch anything in HD now. And also £380 for a feature packed TV was too good to pass up!

Personally I don't think 4k will be broadcast for quite a long time, obviously you may be able to stream it, but mainstream TV... Youll probably get a Sky4k in a couple of years which will be the same as Sky3d is now, can't imagine there beingmainstream 4k channels for ages yet though

Looks like a good piece of kit but I'm wary of pioneer after my vsx521 fucked up after only a couple of years.

I've just bought this one ready for new house,
http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/tv-dvd-blu-ray/televisions/large-screen-tvs-32-and-over/lg-49ub820v-smart-4k-ultra-hd-49-led-tv-10029077-pdt.html

Set it up and it seems pretty decent.
