PVS is creeping up so maing good progress!

Got the board fitted up into the bay and battery mocked up in the boot. Bough a brand new Bosch battery which ill fit soon but just want to test eveything first!

I bought a riveting gun and had a blast, really easy not sure why I thought otherwise!!

I then used the rest of the carbon fibre to make the top brackets for the morette headlights which have been sat in a box for moths sice I made them up

Pretty happy with the final result and they seem nice and secure. I will have to wire in the indicators but that shouldnt be too much drama. I then whipped her out the garage and and got the anti roll bar fitted along with the polyflex bushes

With everything coming together I had to start getting the speedlines sorted.......... as in they have been sat in the wardrobe also collcting dust since the refurb

So ordered some Toyo T1R, I felt these would be man enough for what I want to use the car for.

Loaded them into the zimmer and got the tyres fitted. Then straight back to mine for some poorboys love

So this is how she looks at the moment. Ive got the bonnet and struts to fit, wheels and susension

Oh I bought some suspension 2nd hand but at a rice I couldnt say no to.

Im going to have to fit the AVO's, Wilwoods and wheels the same day as I wont be able to get the brakes on beforehand under the cav slabs

I got the bonnet on and sorted the morette wiring and did what needed to be done.....went for a blast!!!!

All I can say was it was awesome, feels like its been forever!!!

So managed to borrow a ramp for the day thats to my trusted partner in crime

Several hours later I got the Wilwoods fitted and the AVO's. Bleeding the brakes was a C#@T but we got there in the end.

Whipped the wheels on and dropped her to the ground. Couldnt get the front centre caps on the speedlines as the shafts were to long. Also the tracking was now out a mile so planeed to sort that another day I just wanted the car home for now.

Looks lovely, but I found avo's to be absolute dog shit on my let. I only used fronts. Tried 250lb and 300/350lb springs and was just shite, and that's after being fully rebuilt by avo

Looks good mate!

What tool did you use to cut the carbon fibre? I've got tons of the stuff in the garage, but I tried the bandsaw at work once at after 15 minutes of trimming various bits the teeth had worn away
