what i did was take one of the copper pipe bits out the old throttle body and joined the 2 hoses together with that. Seems to have worked ok

...and what do you do with the two holes in the throttle body? ok to just leave them exposed as they are?
cant wait til i get a powerbox, just refuse to pay over the odds for one and skint due to tax, test and tyres atm

Theirs no hoses that fit on to the throttle body right up the top of the engine when you fit it to a inlet box. but judging on the pictures of other peoples they seem to have left it blank too

i know what he means! but the two pipes are and inlet for coolant and and outlet for coolant but if theres no coolant going in to the body then how would coolant piss out everywhere?
dont connect anything to the throttle body just block the coolant pipe off

You can't just block the coolant pipe off because its goes to the expansion tank. You have to join the two together

the two pipes circled do not need to be conected! or connected to each other as no coolant is inside there
