Why not get a WOT4 Foam-e?

same money, just as easy to fly and will last longer.

You see, I hate the thought of these smaller planes, flying normally in circles...

I love the thought of those dudes doing FPV flying up to 16000 feet or 20km away, just a shame they're so expensive

Just had a read.. Personally I'd buy a Spektrum DX5 and a little Parkzone bind and fly jobby will only be £20-30 more and you'll have yourself a decent digital transmitter.

Thats all throw away stuff with that supercub.

I loved flying mine RC stuff but it isn't half expensive to have decent kit.

Cheap stuff can't take the wind, big stuff hurts when you plant it in a hedge.

I'm not suggesting you dont know anything, im new to all the new stuff

but I bought some crappy £100 all in kit to get back into it all and it was a total and utter waste of money

Ended up buying decent stuff in the end but atleast I know I can re-use my radio gear, batteries and charger

So i've been looking, quite like the multiplex twister tbh, looks good from the videos i've seen. Now, if i purchased a dx6i and the twister, what else would i need? Speed controller obviously, not sure which one? Batteries? Servo's? If anyone can help it's +20 internetz points for them. So tempted to purchase a new set up!

From what I can see ready to fly stuff generally needs a an RX and/or battery the Almost ready to fly stuff needs all electrics and the bind and fly stuff comes with everything you just need a DSM TX.

Twister has motor.

You would need

speed controller
servos
radio system
batteries
charger

and some glue to stick it back together when you dig it out the ground

true that, but still, i've read they're quite docile to control, my wing was twitchy as fuck so something a little more docile seems like a good idea. Looks like ima do some shopping around. Li-po's would be best right?

Went in my local model shop today, they run the local flying club as well.

They highly recommended me a hobbyzone super cub. Everything is included for 149.99, it also has anti crash technology, which he said is really good? Anyone any experience on these?

I've just dug my old wing out, it's a jp-si 'zagi'. Running a 480 motor and 22 amp speed controller. Looks like i need some new crystals and batteries to get it flying. Might buy a new charger while i'm at it. Will try get pics in a bit
