I was gonna say build one from an old turbo, seen a few videos of people who have built them, it doesn't seem "too hard"

Small models suck in anything but light wind. Cheap obviously so no matter if you destroy it.

If you have a big-ish indoor space it'd be ideal.

I've got a leccy heli as well...a ripmax sabre haven't really got it off the ground yet, they are £80-100 new and I got an unused one off ebay for £30 and upgraded to a li-po battery as the nimh's are shite....then broke the rear rotor, fixed that then broke the main rotor stabiliser bar just need a nice big field so I can keep it in the air long enough

You can get the parkzone bind and fly micro planes for £39.99 then you need to buy a controller.

My advice is to get a Spektrum DX6i, the phoenix simulator software and a Parkzone SU-26Xp to practice with

Check their other videos, they did a long range test to 89km away!!

So while they're sitting in a field, with VR goggles on, their plane is flying miles and miles away... that's just awesome

top speed of 185kph too. Seriously cool, bit expensive though and as some of them have found out, when the batteries die / they crash in the middle of no where it can be hard to recover the plane.

I've always wanted a multiplex twinjet/funjet or something like that. Started off with a basic two channel ripmax easy flight thing years ago, then got a 3 channel single wing thing. Not done it in years though, might look at getting back into it though
