Cheers mate! Needed an intercooler that was big enough to cope with future plans, and although I liked previous look, if had it like that for 3 years and needed a change

No mate. Barely done any miles, few issues still and boost not set up etc. not worth the risk to me.


On a plus side. The oil leak was due to the rocker cover seal it was sitting twisted on cambelt side, noticed after Steve come round removed cambelt and pullies etc..

After me leaving the oil gallery plug out behind the flywheel (that come of answering my phone at the wrong time), fixing the cam cover gasket you fitted will be much easier.

PS Like I said, the injector loom clip needs to be fitted to the car not left in the road on the tarmac whilst you drive the car.

Few pics if what we done beforehand

Tie bar mod (places under lower arms) solid spacers made to slide into lower arms to keep ball joints in place, and new bolts cut to longer size



Intercooler brackets made by Lemass


Swarf after exactly 100 miles


On way back from bodyshop car was getting hot (no danger hot, as was pulling over and letting cool down, but turns out fan was blowing air te wrong way haha so chaned that and added a second anyway

Metal polish after ONE wipe. Good stuff cleaned on left
