Nope, just taken off to fit the hose. Hopefully getting to Tom this weekend, but few issues here, and no exhaust (needs to be re-shaped to fit)
7 weeks for delivery of that hose, ridiculous!!

Thanks Willay!

As you probably know I'm not a massive fan of function over form but looks good dude. Sucks all these problems you've had with it but good to see you're persevering.

Haha it's cool, I done mine the whole not function over form for last few years.. Smashed sump and constant worrying about where I go and the roads, stopped car being fun for me. So changed the style a bit, got but boring seeing car looking same for so long

Got quite a lot done today
Horn wired in and re-located
Fan wired in (permanently on, for now)
Speedo in, cowling wheel shroud etc all fitted again
Gearbox speed sensor attached, so can see how fast I'm not going.
Got codes read (just AFM)
Adjusted clutch cable
Some general tidying in the bay.
Went to exhaust place, and a lot needs doing to make it fit so got to go back tomorrow for quite a while unfortunatly..
Went petrol station, got told off for number plate in window.

Got so so many strange looks as drive past Randoms, was awesome.

I demand a pass seat ride once its "finished".

AFM clear? Check the extended connections, if they are anything like the coil.

Wire up the fan properly and stop being a pikey.

Hi Alex, Dave here, the guy that was with Mark when you came down to help the other day.

Can you answer this?? http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=655743 regarding the fan wiring/thermoswitch.

Also, AFM wiring passes all tests, grounds are healthy, supply voltage is bang up to battery voltage. Steve is meant to be supplying a couple of AFM's to test out though, if they all produce the same symptoms then.. well.. lol

Hai

Replied to that thread.

Good good, if you have a problem with the wiring, do the connections the way I did

Car made it all way to bodyshop today without any real
Issues I still have some though.

1. Car needs to be warmer to start properly, starting and holding acceptor for around a minute sorts this.
2. EML light on for AFM (could be related to issue one)
3. Pretty big oil leak I think from the sump, it's blowing across to cambelt and being flicked all over the engine bay, making a massive mess

Shouldnt be, block was cleaned, new gasket, oil pump used along with a new bonded baffel plate gasket and cleaned sump.
Still leaked though.
I am going to supply a new baffel/gasket and shorter bolts.
