Epic weekend up Santa Pod

nearly didnt make it though, friday night before my boost pipes decided to pop off! never happened to me before, managed to sort them out though

could only manage at best a 15.1 down the strip - which i was a little disapointed with, just couldnt get a great pull away, will get better with practise though! and a little more boost

few pics from the show.. was on cc|uk's stands, which again were stupidly over packed

ahh was my boot open and a lad sat in it while i was driving? lol. went round the back of the pod to get out quicker lol

recently done these for another lad.. corsa d alloys, sparkling graphite

which made way for my BBS allyos to have some work done! at last..

e-tech primer on the rim as i went down to bare metal;

then thought i'd go subtle and smart with them..

clear coat, left to dry then center caps;

been a while since iv been in here! the cars currently running 13psi at the moment, was 9psi before... not had it on the RR but if i go for the asumption its 10bhp per pound of pressure.. it should be about 260bhp now

only problem it's not holding boost, on high or low pressure, done an oil filter change while it was on the ramps at warrens, fitted some blue samco coolant hoses, coolant change, and checked the actuator.. i've just ordered a garrett t28 replacement as i dont want to go down the route of a MBC, rather just fix the problem in one hit!

smaller updates;

porcshe anthracite D90's - front 7.5j with minimal stretched 195's, rear 8j's with 205s.. 20mm spacers all round, they were shotblasted, primered twice, and being sprayed up with grey glitter tomorrow

i still have the BBS if i change my mind, lol.. wheel whore ftw.. i use 2k clear coat when i spray them myself, all done my rattle can, getting the D90s done in a body shop though as there my show wheels

roof lining in black suade (need to re stick it with a very strong adhesive as the spray glue is PANTS haha.

white led replacement in the boost and oil gauges

roof vinyl (ace of hearts) stripped off yesterday..

oh, and had some fun on track

few pics

had her on the dyno again today - very humid and warm, managed a 230bhp at 10psi, which im pleased with, i'v had the car holding psi at about 12 on the roads though in cooler conditions, overall im happy though!

was tempted to take the front number plate off again for some pics but i get so much haassel due to it, so they stay on untill shows

Nath.. the bumper was imported from Germany actually! It's a facelift Opel that has been fully smoothed

Nope not a painter by trade, taught myself although i do SOME spraying at work..

the BBS lips i just took my time prepping, filling, sanding, light primer to see any imperfections, sanded down again, primered, heated dry, flattened, paint! to get a good finish the prep must be perfect
