Cheers Nathen

Quaife diff went in last week, wish i had got one sooner! its awesome lol.

Didnt get many pics, as the diff had already been fitted into another gearbox.. we just changed boxes over, the diff has less than 100 miles done on it though as i know the lad who had it previously, plus it comes with a lifetime guarantee anway

gearbox off.. standard diff inside..

picked up a cheap custom half cage, started prepping up in the back of my van lol

decided on new gauges.. didnt really like the pillar pod, bit tacky in the corsa and restricted driving view..

replaced the MFD with this..

was fun routing all the vacuum lines and 12v..

which meant i was left with a pillar like so ;

spent 20 minutes replacing it with some left over suede fabric and adhesive ;

base coat on the first half of the cage ;

clear coat..

center consol all back together, could do with a polish, dome could do with flatting and lacquer at some point

then picked up and fitted these this afternoon..

so not a cheap easter weekend on the booster.. took her up to Harlow take over cruise Saturday evening, and up Enfield Sunday night, lots of petrol! lol

bit of backwards progress.. ill get pics of the cage fitted if i remember lol but in the mean time...

Right.. wont go into much detail as its far from finished..

anyway.. bumper / lights etc all off..

new rad + random pipework

putting it all together.. cannot stress how annoying one little thing can be! had to adjust the plate for the actuator as we spun the housing to suit my car..

new studs and bolts, gaskets all round.. trialed the new set up...

plumbed in the feeds and returns

i was pretty much asleep come 1am in the morning, so called it a night after mounting the ali rad and connecting that up

a few days later.. i came back to what i left warren g with and sorted out the rad so the intercooler mounts how it did before, then had fun towing it to powerspeed.. where it has sat since! been about 9 days now..

picked up my new bigger boost pipes, t peices, couple of bits to get it all running when i go to pick her up and fix everything..

cosworth gasket and nuts turned up this morning.

be picking the manifold back up thursday evening, meant to be going to Swedish house mafia over the weekend so doesnt look like i'll be putting the car back together any time soon

not sure why some of my older pics aren't showing any more..

anyhoo - not really sure what stage i left this thread at but has since seen more changes

312mm 4 pots have been on since i got back from Ibiza last August/September, gave the arches a clean the other day after coming off track and into the gravel lol

have had polished compomotive TH mono's on since then too - didnt like how they drove around track though so picked up some very cheap mo5's wrapped in ad08's on eBay

down Lydden hill the weekend just gone

fun around Brands a couple of weeks ago

a few days previous to that i did take a trip down to Austec racing with vxro but unfortunately blew a gasket on the way there which meant i couldnt roll my car

gave the car a little loving over the past couple of months - ready for summer and some track fun

replaced the boot struts, a new horn, service, just need to get the detailing gear out and give it a good clean, possibly get booked into a bodyshop at some point too
