Woah, car has come such a long way! the only thing I'd change is the IC, paint it black maybe or try hide it behind a grille of some sort. Other than that it's stunning, keep up the good work!

Pains me to say this, but actually think I prefer it on the MO5's.

Looking good though Jay!

yeah i prefer the mo5's

fresh paint

picked up a spare front bumper and rattle canned it, saves me worrying about tow eye on track and damaging any paintwork

looks ok considering its a rattle can job lol

now heres a proper z18xe tubular

4mm thick, tig welding is excellent quality, 12mm laser cut flange, unfortunately didn't have time to fit it for my Total Vauxhall feature on Tuesday

real racecars have two sets of comps and two bumpers + a pit van of tools lol

but i assume they also have coolant hoses that dont burst when your on track

some of the photos i see today looked amazing, hope they come out well for the feature, mug shots of me though lol

quick video of me around brands from inside the car

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_AJLt1DHHM

test fitted the new manifold yesterday

went ok, had to release my turbo bracket to lift everything a couple of mm. which meant it was even closer to the rad.. so i made a little bracket to push the rad out as much as possible whilst still being supported..

worked well tbh, the turbo is a good 6/7mm away now

then replaced the fan for a new slimline one.. my old one kind of smashed / melted after my first session at Brands a month or so back lol

Thanks to warren g as usual for supplying parts, saved me a bit of time ordering from elsewhere - also picked up a standard coolant hose and modified that, no where near my manifold now

just need to replace 3 nuts on the manifold and it should be good to go

a few pics at Brands
