over the week iv been taking it slow as worked sat just gone, i found a few things that i hope will help in the engine running spot on and not hunting! first off when i took the opel cover off i saw this

then after using some hose off a 2L eco inlet i ended up with this as a quick fix.

after doing this i thought i would take the whole inlet off but on doing so found that this had split also!

goes on the end of this.

then into here.

i then managed to drop the split rubber ring somewere down the back of the engine! was tired... so moved round the back of the car to start on replacing grey with blacks!

then saw the dent witch pissed me off! but this happens when putting an engine in the back as i recall the last owner doing...

state of the rear light cluster

found more rust under the boot rubber.

think this could be repaired?

so got pissed off again and went to the front drivers door started removing bits to get the door cards off to replace with sexy ones and found that this car has tweeters!

are these standard anyone?

was happy with that but dont know if they work as has no head unit....

this would be why it needs new doors either side to...

but i have some in prima already so im ok with that

next part to piss me off was the crack on both sides of the b pillers how would these be repaired?

and as if by magic my knob fell off!

started removing the back pannels.

Is this a genuine GSi? Thought the GSi model had grey surround on clocks? And red stripe interior with grey plastics. Look
1.4 8v LS or something thats been made to look like a GSi with GSi engine.

If it a genuine GSi then thats really cool. Never seen one that colour. Shame about all the rust and dents though. Get them sorted and you got yourself a very nice little ride there mate.
