Also got pulled in a mates car, mate was driving, I was the passenger.

Most Coppers I know are really nice guys, this one was an absolute c*nt tbh, was having a rite go saying how we where all over the place, when its hard not to be when theres cars parked on either side of the road at a busy time of the day, and then accused my mate of being drunk, and accused me of being stoned

So we said we would like to have a breathaliser just to prove him wrong yet he wouldnt give us one.

Reading this, most pullings seem justified tbh.

Just some of the copper attitudes were not. But then how many of you are irrate after a cr4p day. They can take it out on you. Sucks for us, but perk of the job for them. Human nature.

My friend and I were having a play home once. We stopped, lad got out of my car and into friends as he decided to crash at his instead of being dropped off at home.

Next minute, neee narrrr, 2 young lads got out and blurted on that i'd nearly hit him in his high vis vest (I didn't at all). Mind you, I was doing about 90

It was the one and only time i'd had 3 bottles of beer over 3 hours, and I was petrified about an alchol test. After he read ou Delta Four Michal Zero Beta as my reg plate, I knew they were dumb and acted Mr Polite.

One and only ever time i've drunk n driven, and never ever again.

End of the day, if your legal, and doing nothing wrong, you have no worries. Scampering off like you have something to hide only means they will follow you. You could be smoking drugs, be a drunk driver, anything.

Im sure if you had an accident, or someone was beating you up in the street, I know who you would want there to help you. And it isn't mummy..

We've had cars broken into, bikes stolen, no police help at all, but I don't blame the overall police, I blame the goons who are running them all and taking away their powers.

I've got no silly reasons, they were all perfectly valid reason to pull me over looking back at my youth

Thank you Daimo, couldnt have said it better myself!

Chloe, I dont honestly give a shit if you dont like coppers, I deal with people everyday who don't, it was the sad, pathetic, childish names that got my back up just to look hard on an internet forum. Most people are so quick to critise the police, yet guess who is the first they call for the smallest thing?!
Oh, and to say you hate all coppers is pathetic, theyre FAR from being all the same, just as I don't have a random rant about the catagory you fall into

To answer the original post, only been pulled a couple times, just for routine stops etc

Tbf, ive called the police on 3 different occasions. 2 random assults (happens around here for no reason, people just beat people up) and theft. Everytime i got 'we come tommorrow at x time'....

So you go out of your way to stay in, no turn up, keeping ringing them, get told another time, same happens again, so not everyone calls them for nothing alex, as they know nothing comes of it.

My girlfriend got pulled for having a large 21 helium filled balloon in the back of the car. The police officers excuse was that she couldn't see out of the rear view mirror

That police officer obviously hasn't seen HGV's, LGV's and Transit type vans without rear windows.

Also the local town bypass, i was racing my friend, over took him, and we didnt realise a panda car was at the bottom trying to chase us up the hill

Same copper followed me months later for ' nothing'

Got pulled for going down a buslane, with a fine, and he was very polite, and didnt mind speaking to him at all.

But all other experiences have been from arrrogant police (tend to be little, skinny police officers who try and act the big un because im bigger than them)

Gf got pulled in her brand new corsa by panda's and told that her plates were too small and if traffic pulled her she'd get a fine.

They should stick to eating donuts considering the plate was an adequate length.

No point arguing with them though, they have to make up in some way for being bullied at school.

good ones are when thy pull you over and say that you were driving suspisiously

so you ask in all sinseraty(sp) how was i driving suspisiously as i will adjust the way i drive so i dont keep getting pulled over.. they dont like you for that lol

they also get shitty when they ask you wether you've been to jail before..(wtf they asking me that for) then act all shitty when you say that you have no criminal record and it should have told thm that when they ran my reg...

got pulled for having no tax on my car, or so the police woman thought.

this was whilst driving home from work at 2am, after being followed for 15 mins!

crappy database said my car wasn't taxed, but it was and it was up at the end of that month
