Och, you don't want a civic, serious lack of torque

Courtenay plenum looks good, some size difference over standard. Looks a lot better than the TX autosport tophat kit too.

Yea I prefer the courtenay one aswell as I prefer the look of it to the TX one.

I think Im settled on the Courtenay stuff now after seeing this

Would be the same but with my Anthracite rocker cover, opc plug cover and perhaps some sort of plate to cover up the fuel rail etc at the back of the engine.

CDTI airbox is far nicer than the 2.2 setup, but I couldnt face paying over £100 for the courtenay pipe for it

OPC plug covers on ebay, thats where I got mine.

mark - from ebay mate, this guy:http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Xenon-Bulbs-Direct
mine where H11's iirc so not sure if your's are the same, paid under £4 for the pair and tbh they are ace, give out a nice white light so im happy with them.

Well dean its not a good update im afraid..

UPDATE 22/05/2010:
After 9 months of reliability, she let me down for the first time tonight
Did around a 30 mile drive, then went to head back home, was going up a hill in 5th, was giving it some in order to get up the hill and as the revs started to climb i lost power.
EML came on, so rolled to the side of the road, let the car cool down and turned it off, turbo was glowing red hot, didn't notice anything obviously out of place or leaking etc, let the car cool for 20 minutes, started it again and the EML was still on.

Car was running fine, no smoke out of the exhaust, idle was fine and settled at around 750rpm, drove it the couple of miles home and only thing I could notice different was the fact it wasn't over boosting, parked the car up again and left it to cool, started again and EML still on, so drove it back home and the EML went off

So very confused as I was going to take it to the garage and put it on a diagnostics machine but with the light now off i dont really know what it could be?
AFM? Lambda?

Any help and advice would be ace

If the EML was on for long enough it still would've saved the code. Either get it on someones Op-Com or paper-clip the codes off.

my EML came on in the focus when it rained once. wouldn't let me over 3k rpm and wouldn't go into 6th gear.

when it dried out a couple days later the EML just went off on it's own.

Pedal test mate!

Key in ignition, press brake and gas and keep them pressed, the eml should flash, each flash is a number 10 flashes is a 0.

Only turn it to position 2, dont turn it on.

Oh and if it flashes more than 10 times without a pause, then there are no faults stored in the ECU.

Well did the pedal test, didn't catch the code properly but went something like this 3-4-10(0), but didnt catch it properly, went to do it again but nothing came up, EML is still off and took it for a drive and did the same thing I did last night and this time nothing happened, i checked over all the sensors and pipes and they all seemed ok

Car is driving fine, the exhaust manifold gasket is blowing on start up and is getting abit louder over time and im still losing around half a pint of coolant every month and a half through the water pump so still need to get the pump, cambelt and rollers done at somepoint very soon.

Also noticed there is a very small seepage coming from one of the turbo coolant hoses, wanted to replace these with silicone ones anyway but can't seem to find any available?

Cheers for the help guys, mucho's appreciated
