UPDATE 5/3/10

Well been a while since I updated this, was going to update tomorrow night after I had all me new bits fitted but chances are i won't be getting my wheels back until wednesday so will have to update properly then.

So anyway I found a bodyshop with a decent recommendation plus a mate is having his MK3 Astra Gsi painted down there in Arden Blue and Anthracite wheels, so took the chance to make use of the extra paint
So I borrowed my Dads spare Vectra Gsi wheels for the time being,

They are awful, nails in both front tyres so have to pump them up every few days, they are a 45 profile tyre aswell so it handles alot worse than it already did and grip is appalling

Wheels where due to be finished tomorrow but he had some problems with his spray booth early in the week so they are now delayed until wednesday which isn't too bad, plus I was having second thoughts on the colour, so he custom mixed me a new colour which looks rather sexy so will see how they turn out when I pick them up

You also may have noticed I have done my numberplate recess in a black vinyl as I wasnt sure enough to paint it, Im happy with it so will be leaving it as it is.

Ive also purchased some fake carbon fibre vinyl to re-do the pillars as I didn't like them black, so will get them on tomorrow.
Only other things I have done is sealed the stone chip in the screen so it doesnt get any bigger.

Things to do:
So I got promoted at work which means more hours and money so can get things done quicker than planned.
So a few things coming up which will be done in the next few weeks/months:

.Cambelt, tensioners and waterpump done as the pump is leaking
.Pre-cat de-cat as its blowing when cold
.Centre console re-painted gloss grey
.My oil pressure and oil temperature gauges fitted
.VXR Turbo and Bolt Restrictor Mod (current turbo is fine but will most likely fail with tuning)
.Blueflame 70mm Exhaust System
.TX Automotive FMIC Kit with twin fans

Obviously I have more plans with regards to handling as such, Ive also booked the car into the bodyshop to get a few subtle things done.

So will update when the wheels are back on wednesday

P.S - Dean if you still want my CD holder then your welcome to it soon as I will be replacing with gauges

UPDATE 11/03/10

Well got my wheels back from being refurbed, very happy with them, got them done for a decent price and the finish is quality.
Will get some more fancy pictures in a better location tomorrow night, but borrowed a decent camera and took some pictures after i gave it the once over today.

Will get some decent pictures tomorrow night, they show up great under decent lighting.
Next on the list is cambelt & waterpump etc which is booked in to be done at the end of the month, and a pre-cat de-cat pipe.

Cheers mate, plenty of tyre shine and tyre gel to keep the tyres black

It isnt an off the shelf colour, the guy custom mixed it with a few house of kolor paints he already had and in the sun they look amazing, he kept the mixing ratio and has loads of it left so if i need anymore then there is plenty there.

Don't like the numberplate surround being painted black.

Original colour with a 3/4 plate would look much better.

ShEp - Cheers mate, I still really want to see some video's of yours
Im still abit un-certain about the recess in black hence why I only used vinyl so it can be removed again if I didnt like it

stu_c - Already sold mate, they needed a refurb badly anyway, they hadn't had the best of times

Cheers for the comments, took some half decent pictures this evening so will upload them now
