If your blacklisted already just stop paying they will collect the car and that will be the end of that theres always a way out.

Simple fact is you knew what you were earning you knew what the payments were you took the decision not their fult is it.

Is it finance or a personal loan? with finance there a thing called halves and thirds. i cant remember exactly cos its a few years since i've dealt with finance but after so many payments they cant take the car back without going to court and on the other amount you can just hand the car back to finance arsewipes and terminate agreement you walk away owing nothing and doesnt affect credit rating. cant remember which war round tho. you may want to look into this further the guy at the dealer will know all about it
Hope this helps

Yes, not being able to take the car back without going to court is a third payed and a Voluntary Termination (which applies to any finance agreement regulated by the consumer credit act, normally under £25,000ish) means once you have paid half of the total amount payable you can just hand it back with no further payments. This however doesn't blacklist you but does get recorded on your credit file and future lenders may look at it in a bad way as VTs cost companies a lot of money as they never get back what is owed on the Finance agreement.
