Yeah for my car. Hopefully they're not going to discriminate against the entire region, just the ones driving ragtops

Insurance does my nut in, especially as that's what I work in

It's sad how the people who probably need the discount less will get it (i.e. people in southern england in nice area's who pay £200 f/c on punto turbo's etc at 20 )

I was with flux but changed half way through 1st year..they really are cowboys...

made me sign a finance agreement to pay fee then I owe finance company money...crap that...

LV much better I pay a monthly fee direct to them...no finance no hassle. And very good customer service which Flux didnt have!

ok ill go into detail...prev posted on migweb 03-04-2003 23:11

make your own minds up on the quality of these insurance companies (adrian flux and equity red star)

as you know i had an accident 9th november, and today only just been paid out, took 4 months to even make a first offer, saying it was written off, this was after saying no its not, yes it is, no its not, we will give cash payment, nope its a write off.

they instructed universal salvage to remove the car then sent me letter saying write off and i could get my personal belongings from milton keynes! luckily the garage told U.S where to go and they werent touching it.

also i paid out for an agreed value policy which they claim to have "lost" my valuation for so said no agreed value in force.

after involving the ombudsman and only the day after the ombudsman deadline passed to sort it did they even start to do **** all.

offered me a pathetic 2500 for the car when i had agreed value of 12500, that offer was laughed at and £££££££££ worth of receipts produced, they then started to question receipts saying that engine tuning (throttle bodies) should cost no more than 1k even on a rally car! and this is supposedly a specialist policy with a specialist company! we had to make the engineer phone tuning companies to find out what the parts were

eventually sorted on monday with them agreeing to pay out a cash in lieu of repair settlement to enable me to reshell the car and i retain the old car, and the car is in fact not written off

happy with this more constructive reply?

iv used adrian flux and so have a few m8's and to be honest they are a good company.

ok, they seemed a bit rougish when i first rang em but i have now been insured with em a year and had no probs at all.

The thing is people who have a problem with companys are more likely to kick us a fuss (not having a go at anyone on here) then people who are satisfied with the service they are provided (its a proven fact)

make ur mind up from what iv sais but the 15% discount is an awesome deal and is something most of u should be enquiring about (specially if u have renewal soon)

what the hell??? 15%? how did you manage that?

that means if its say 1100 f/c when I renew next then it only costs £935!!!

thats wicked!

discount of up to 15%

oh hold up... just read it ... up to 15%

that means 15% will be the maximum discount and that it could be as low as say 0.3%
