Car went on the rolling road today at torque of the devil. They are usually spot on with their rr results

Car did three runs between 136 and 140bhp

Maximum readout was 140.8bhp and 126lbft

So happy with that and its running healthy

Took the S out on its first track outing since having the diff fitted wasnt a fair test as it was sopping wet. But I think in the dry the difference will be massive

Not quite sure how healthty the box is as it gets crunchy in 3rd when hot ie after two or three hot laps. Might try a different oil first. Running 75-90 in it would I be right in thinking that 75-80 would be better as it would be thinner at higher temps?

Other things Highlighted for me to improve on are

Differnt seats, vts ones are not supportive enough at all kept falling out of em

Get round to fitting the lower brace

Weight loss and cage once I get a daily driver

Happy with the amount of power it has and the way it delivers it. Thought of cams but I dont want to lose the low down grunt it has.

935kg standard car equates to 149.73bhp per ton

What could I realistically get it down to without going crazy 800kg would give 175 per ton

That the thing with these cars, awesome BHP per tonne figures for little money.

Im hoping I can get mine around 150bhp, then get it on the weighbridge, should get it around 750kg? Around 200bhp per tonne

What would be needed to reach the 750kg area?

Everything inside bar the seats, get rid of electric windows, mirrors, change door cards, sunroof out, spare wheel etc etc, possibly a little more.

Oh quite alot then

What area would you be looking at retaining full dash and electrics but gutting out the rest barring cage and two buckets?

Quite like this car

on the seat side of things - thats one of the reasons I sold my civic, too much body roll and I kept sliding off the seat

Body roll isnt the issue its the seats having no bolsters to hold you in

Fuck, I'd be going back complaining pal, they must have used an old machine as new machines use plastic guides for this very reason.

Meh I didnt notice at the time as the car was filthy from the track.

Wont be using them again anyway as they said they "couldnt do the tracking" because of the bolts been where they were. But everyone else can. Got it done today with no issues

Edge isnt too noticable its the bits around the bolt holes that are. Got some paint in the shed left over to I will just blob it over the white bits for the time been

Off topic Gav, but was you after cheap track wheels? if so buy some XSI wheels, look fairly good actually, and they're cheap as chips. I sold 5 for £50 a few months ago.
