If the crank sensor is faulty on a 1.4 16v sport, what would the problems be?

it would stall when you come to a stop and let off the accelerator and then wouldn't restart again straight away.

Your crank shaft sensor is located just above the cv boot on the gear box on th edrivers side. you will pay about £20-£30 for the part and it is very simple to fit.

The sypmtoms usually inc: If the engine won't start, i.e. turns over but doesnt fire up, and cuts out on de acceleration

On a diagnostic scanner the fault code wil be P0335.

Got the car running.....the problem i found was the MAP snesor pipe was cut, and came loose.

Anyway, drove the car bout 15 miles, now the engine cut off in a junction....and just wont restart , i was towed home

What could it be? I've checked all the pipes, and they are all connected.
