i have a mantzel style inlet so its not that on mine,

im tryin to diagnose a fault like this on mine sounds very similar, does yours turn over and sit at 500revs and is it really flat up until about 3k?

yea but only flat till about 1500rpm (yours is probably same just a bit different if you get me )

sounds about right, i dnt have performance inlet so our rev/power range would be different wouldn it, think my best bet would be change map and air temp sensor then, my mate gonna check resistance values of all my sensors on weekend wotever that means lol, just worried its like my problem last year see, slipped a tooth on timing as the keyway on the crank was very very slightly worn so the guy welded it on tidy and dog tight so it shouldn be tht anyways im waffling

hmm, the MAP and ATS are what im going to swap with dan-sport tomorrow so will find out if it's either one of these

cn u hear any air leaks then lik a whistling sound and is the mil light on could poss b lamda sensor only 21 pound plus vat so thas 1 2 try if no joy with the map sensor

well all my issues were do to me putting an incorrect pipe into my vacuum network...oops!

It was a hard thin black pipe that disapers down the backof the engine

It was meant to go to the outlet on the fuel tank vent valve!
