I use cccp codec pack so I don't have to install any other players, I like windows media player.

It's basically ffdshow with some HD stuff added in, plays every video i've encountered and doesn't install loads of stuff like the other codec packs.

I use an xpcodec pack, and media player classic, far superior and very simple to use. plays everything I've thrown at it.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.
