The kit came from Chris Astley originally, was in a mates car for a month before hand though - covered less than 1,000 miles

I couldn't tell you, do the hubs come as a separate item or are they pressed in to the bearings when you buy them?

Need to sort this out!

I still can't see why anything should be going wrong, can't really go wrong pressing the hub into the bearing...

Bearing is located fine between the 2 circlips, aaaaah!

Perhaps he was a rough cunt when putting the bearings in.

More F*cking Problems

My issue with blowing fuses for the wiper stalk/circuit still remains...

Removed the scuttle to see if anything was unusual under there - nothing, everything was fine.

Removed steering column couling etc - nothing visably wrong there.

A rake through the wiring for under the dash and in the fuse box - nothing funny happening there either

I'm now in a pretty shit situation, looking like a may have to give my car to the auto electricians as I am totally out of ideas

If anyone wants to suggest anything to help me here, you are more than welcome!

Wipers still don't work

Powercap should be in here in the morning

4 new tyres are ready to be fitted on Saturday morning, along with a reconditioned MAF

All I need now is some front springs to raise it slightly and perhaps a N/S wing to tidy it up...

Will update as parts arrive etc.

Yeah, you can see the mess I made of it in the first picture above - the engine was in before I remembered and with limited cutting tools the hammer came out

Powercap hides the mess pretty well now though I think

Need to fit a catalyst
Secure rear seats
Fit standard headlights
New brake shoes - both sides
Handbrake cables

And on top of that, need to get the auto sparky's to look at my wipers cause I'm stumped...
